The MRK range of magnetic couplings offer a range of torques for different size vessels, from 100ml to 100 litres, and can be fitted with a connection for conical joints in
glassware or with a screwthread or flange for pressure vessels upto 700bar. They are available either with or without an integrated motor.
Different materials of construction are available with stainless steel as a standard and Hastelloy, Titanium, etc as options.
Speed sensors that measure the rotational speed of the internal shaft are available as well as valve fittings to save space on the reactor head.
The culmination of this space saving technique is the Mini100. This magnetic coupling has been designed to allow good stirring even in very small
pressure vessels.
